My mission for this year is to discover more small natural brands. I've never heard about Angela Langford before, until her add popped up on my Instagram. I have visited her website and decided to order the sample pack.

Angela Langford produces every product herself and she chooses the best quality raw materials. The description is always honest and doesn't promise any miracles. Instead, Angela explains the benefits of every ingredient she uses.
I really like the idea of trying skincare before buy. Some of the brands offer samples or travel sizes, which is always good. Angela Langford made one step farther. She chooses the samples especially for you. All you have to do is register yourself on her website, answer few questions about your skin and pay postage of £4.50.
This is such a great idea! The samples I have received after few days were chosen exactly for my mature and dry skin, and they make nearly whole skincare routine.

I have received 4 samples - scrub, serum, eye oil and moisturiser. I'm not sure how big are the bottles but the samples are quite generous - the scrub made 3 treatments, serum and cream lasted me a week and I still use the oil (over 2 weeks). There is enough of product to test and see some results.
The samples were nicely packed in a pretty bag and every sample has got a dedicated card with a description. I found it very useful as all those products were new to me.
All the products I've got (apart of the eye oil) have a similar scent - very mild combination of citrus and herbs. The eye oil has no scent added. Every product is named in a funny way which is something new as well.
The scrub is in the form of a gel with enough of slip to it for easy application. It contains fruit acids and jojoba grains. I have applied it to the damp skin and massaged in. The gel gets absorbed after a while and lets the grains do their job. The scrub didn't irritate my skin but was very intense at the same time. I really like the combination of scrub and acid exfoliate. I think it works better on the skin and removes dead skin cells on a different levels. Exfoliating is such an important part of a skincare and this scrub makes it pleasant and effective.
This is a plumping and firming serum with lots of botanical active ingredients. It's got a milky consistency and absorbs quickly leaving no residue. I've been really enjoying this serum for w week with a visible results. My skin was moisturised, plumped and brighter. I would like to see the results after 2 months of using it! Great serum with so many good natural ingredients in it and, what's the most important, it's working!
A full size of this eye oil comes in a glass bottle with the roll-on. It contains a delicate cucumber oil to sooth and moisturise the skin around the eyes. The oil is light, absorbs quite quickly and gives me enough of moisture for the whole day. My only concern is - I have to be very careful to apply it not too close to the eye ball. On some occasions it makes my eyes blurry during the day or abscessed in the morning. I have extreme dry skin under my eyes so I use the Angel Eyes under my eye cream. The sample I've got should last me for few weeks.

This is a super moisturising cream with lots of anti-ageing ingredients. It's very rich and silky, but a little goes a very long way. I have applied far too much for the first time. It spreads very easily but it doesn't absorb instantly. I've been using this cream at night and every morning I've been waking up with a nice, glowy and plumped skin. This product made the biggest impression to me as I've seen immediate results.

Overall every single sample sent to me by Angela appeared to be a great product. I will definitely buy some full size skincare in the future (too big stash a.t.m.!) and I have already recommend to order a sample pack to my friend.
Angela sent me a recipe to make a very special hot chocolate as well! I have actually made it and all my family enjoyed it so much! Maybe I'll make you laugh but this little thing actually made me thinking about Angela Langford in a very special way. It made me feel not like an unknown customer, but a person who is looked after by Angela.
The way how the samples were chosen and sent to me is a great approach to selling hand-made skincare. This is something I am looking for recently. I don't want to be fooled by a big companies anymore, promising miracles. I prefer to trust a small company, run by a passionate person who makes an effort to send me a free samples and a hot chocolate recipe to make me feel happier!
