THE BODY SHOP Amazonian Saviour Multi-purpose balm review

I love multi-purpose balms. They are great multitaskers for every day use and for travel. I was really intrigued by this new edition in THE BODY SHOP Amazonian Saviour balm and I have decided to give it a go.

THE BODY SHOP Amazonian Saviour Multi-purpose balm review

Most of THE BODY SHOP skincare, body care or hair care products make an impression of natural cosmetics. But when you look closer into ingredients list you will find out lots of chemical fillers. My favorite skincare from TBS is their Chamomile Cleansing Oil. I've been using it for a long time, but I am aware it's not what we call clean beauty.

When I saw the Amazonian Saviour I checked the INCI list at the first and I was really impressed. It is formulated with only nine natural ingredients with vitamin E as a preservative. As TBS posters say it's inspired by the Amazonian communities that have relied on natural oils to care for their skin for centuries. I am convinced about beneficial influence of natural oils, butters and waxes and they are part of my every day skincare routine.

Another statement says that £1.30 from the sale of every Amazonian Saviour Multi-Purpose Balm will be used by The Body Shop’s Building Bio Bridges Programme to support conservation and communities by funding Bio-Bridges. I really like when companies contribute to a charity or some other programs and they donate some of their profit. It makes me feel that I am doing something good as well by buying those products.

Now when it comes to the balm - it is solid but very soft and smooth in the same time. As it doesn't contain any essential oils it smell very natural - like an oil. It melts easily when applied on the skin and very little goes long way. It is truly a multitasker and I use it for different purposes.

As a cleanser - not so good with makeup removing but excellent for morning cleanse. I remove it with a hot cloth and it leaves my face cleansed and moisturised without greasiness.

As a massage balm - when I want to pamper myself I massage my face with the Amazonian balm and it's great for that as it's very slippery and glides nicely.

As a moisturiser - at a night time I apply little amount on a damp skin (with a face mist or floral water) and in the morning I wake up with a glowy, nourished and plumped face.

All over the body - it's great for hands, feet, knees, elbows or any other part of the body which needs extra care.

Overall I think it's really nice balm and can be used in many ways. Due to natural ingredients and lack of essential oils it is safe even for children and people with allergies. I am very impressed that THE BODY SHOP came up with such a nice natural skincare and I hope for more similar goodies.

Thank you for reading my blog! I hope you will visit me again :)
